Peter Parolin serves as Dean of the Honors College and Associate Professor of English at the University of Wyoming. He joined the English department in 1997, chaired it twice (2008–2011 and 2014–2017), and held roles as Assistant Chair. His research focuses on English Renaissance literature (especially Shakespeare), early modern women’s performance, and food scholarship via early modern receipt books. He teaches Honors College courses like the first-year Colloquium and a summer study abroad program in England and Italy. Beyond UW, he lectures at Canada’s Stratford Festival and performs with UW Theatre and Dance and Relative Theatrics, taking roles like Rothko in Red and Danforth in The Crucible. He also sits on the board of Laramie Reproductive Health.
