Peter Nielsen

Peter Nielsen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, Roskilde University. His research focuses on growth and climate crises, degrowth, ecovillages, and critical theory in political economy. He is actively involved in projects exploring green transitions and socioeconomic organization. Nielsen has contributed to over 190 research outputs, including books, journal articles, and commentaries.

His research interests span economics, political science, and environmental policy, with a particular emphasis on critical realism and alternatives to neoliberalism. He has co-authored influential works such as Den økonomiske teoris historie and Videnskabsteori i praksis.
