Peter Niedermaier

Peter Niedermaier serves as Professor and Vice President at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with Faculty HTB. He teaches in the Bachelor's program in Timber Construction and Interior Design and the Master's program in Windows and Facades (part-time), with his office located in Room C 2.06 at the Rosenheim Campus.

His research focuses on advanced building construction methodologies, specializing in facade engineering and glass applications. Key areas include structural design of building envelopes, glass bonding techniques for windows and facades, and Eurocode-compliant component design. His work bridges theoretical structural principles with practical industry applications in modern building systems.

Beyond academia, Professor Niedermaier holds significant industry roles: he serves on the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce's Examination Commission for sworn experts in windows/facades, and participates in ift Rosenheim's Technical Advisory Board, Certification & Inspection Body Steering Committee, and PCR Documents Expert Committee as a civil engineer.
