Peter Mergaert is a Researcher at Université Paris-Saclay, affiliated with the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (I2BC) under CNRS. Since 2015, he leads the Plant-Bacteria Interactions group, focusing on symbiotic and pathogenic plant-bacteria interactions and insect gut symbiosis.
