Peter McLoughlin

Prof. Peter McLoughlin is Head of the School of Science and Computing at South East Technological University (SETU). He is a Principal Investigator in the Pharmaceutical and Molecular Biotechnology Research Centre (PMBRC) and the Eco-Innovation Research Centre (EIRC). His research focuses on minimally invasive drug delivery technologies (microneedles, contact lenses) and natural product extraction from seaweed. Prof. McLoughlin has supervised 25 PhD and 1 MSc student to completion, securing over €28 million in research funding.
