Peter Marsh is a Lecturer in the School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering at the University of Brighton. He holds a PhD (2023), MFA (2011), and BA (1994) from the University of Brighton and London Guildhall University. His research explores embodied cognition, material culture, and the intersection of design with health and technology. He has extensive experience as a professional model maker and technical educator, including a 17-year role as Model-Making Technician.
Key roles include founding member of the University’s Technician Commitment programme, Athena SWAN committee member, and Cross School Research and Ethics Committee member.
