Peter Marcato

Peter Marcato is a Lecturer in Communications and Radio at the School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education, Swinburne University. He has over a decade of teaching experience in broadcast subjects at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. In parallel, he serves as a fill-in on-air presenter at 1116 SEN and runs BPM Media, specializing in online sports broadcasting and podcasting. His professional activities include committee membership as President of St Mary's Tennis Club since 2011.

Research interests focus on sports broadcasting, media industry dynamics, and radio communication strategies. His notable publication FM Radio (2014) explores Australian media landscapes. Currently unavailable for student supervision, he actively contributes to media commentary roles for major events like the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
