Peter Lowe is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature within Queen's University's Faculty of Arts and Science. He also serves as Research Director at the Bader International Study Centre.
He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Durham, where his dissertation focused on T.S. Eliot.
His research examines twentieth-century literature, especially Modernist poetry and prose (1910–1950). He has published extensively on travel literature and national identity in 1930s England, and currently investigates the influence of Homer's Iliad and other classical texts on World War poets.
