Peter Lab

Peter Lab is led by Professor BM Peter at the University of Rochester and affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVA) in Leipzig. The lab focuses on computational and statistical methods in population genetics, with a particular emphasis on ancient DNA analysis, human evolution, and population structure.

Research interests include developing tools for analyzing low-coverage ancient DNA, modeling spatiotemporal population dynamics, and visualizing genetic data.
