Peter L. Tenore

Dr. Peter L. Tenore is a Medical Educator and Medical Director in the Division of Substance Abuse at Montefiore Medical Center. He specializes in addiction medicine, providing clinical leadership and educational programs for substance abuse treatment. His work bridges clinical practice with public health, advising state and federal agencies like the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the federal Center for Substance Abuse Treatment.

He completed his medical education at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Medicine and his residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
