Peter Köhler

Dr. Peter Köhler is a physicist and researcher at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), specializing in climate sensitivity, carbon cycle dynamics, and isotopic studies. His work focuses on understanding interactions between atmospheric CO₂ concentrations, oceanic carbon storage, and global temperature changes. He employs climate models and paleoclimatic data to assess future climate scenarios, including the impact of negative emissions technologies.
