Peter Kapos

Peter Kapos is a Lecturer in Fine Art Contextual Studies at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy (2010) focused on Immanuel Kant and Johann Fichte. His research examines German philosophy's intersection with art, design history, and contemporary practice.

Kapos investigates utopian precedents in mid-20th century design, their ideological applications, and ongoing cultural influence. His curatorial projects treat artifacts as speculative proposals rather than historical conclusions.
