Peter Janssens

Peter Janssens is an Adjunct Professor of French at Georgetown University's Department of French and Francophone Studies. He also serves as Associate Director for Instructional Resources within the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS), focusing on digital pedagogy. His academic background includes studies at the universities of Brussels and Lille, followed by graduate work at Emory University. A bilingual Dutch-French speaker from an academic family, he previously taught French in Belgium before joining Georgetown.

His research interests span Romance philology, comparative linguistics, and French literary studies, complemented by expertise in integrating technology into language education. Collaborations with CNDLS emphasize innovative teaching methodologies and digital resource development.
