Peter Jackson Strouse

Dr. Peter Jackson Strouse is the John F. Holt Collegiate Professor and Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan's Medical School, where he has served since 1993. His leadership includes:

• Division Director of Pediatric Radiology (2006-2023)
• Director of the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program (2006-2014)
• President of the Society for Pediatric Radiology (2017-2018)
• Editor for the Americas, Journal of Pediatric Radiology (2013-2022)

His research focuses on pediatric abdominal/musculoskeletal imaging, trauma diagnostics, and child abuse imaging, advancing clinical protocols through academic publications.

Honors include the University of Michigan Dean’s Award for Outstanding Clinician (2018) and FACR fellowship. He actively mentors trainees and contributes to editorial standards in pediatric radiology.
