Dr. Peter J. C. Frost was a Professor in the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Division at UBC Sauder School of Business. He dedicated nearly three decades to teaching and research, specializing in leadership, toxic emotions in the workplace, and compassion in organizations. He co-founded the Compassion Lab, exploring human growth within organizational contexts. A Fellow of the Academy of Management, Frost was renowned for his impactful teaching, earning the prestigious 3M Teaching Fellowship. His 2003 book Toxic Emotions at Work became a bestseller and won the George R. Terry Award. He advised countless doctoral students and left a legacy through the Peter Frost Scholarship, supporting non-profit leaders. He passed away in 2004, and his contributions continue to influence leadership education and organizational studies.
