Peter Harrison

Dr. Peter Harrison is a Senior Lecturer and Chair of the Graduate School Board at the University of York's York Law School. He holds a BSc in Physiology from the University of Manchester and dual PhDs in Pharmacology (University of Bristol) and Law (University of York). A non-practising solicitor, he transitioned from bioscience research to intellectual property law, specializing in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and indigenous rights in traditional knowledge. His work bridges innovation law, cultural heritage protection, and digital rights.
