Peter H. Carnell

Peter H. Carnell, Ph.D., P.E., is a Lecturer at the University of Georgia's School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural & Mechanical Engineering since 2014. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and has over 20 years as a licensed professional engineer. Dr. Carnell focuses on integrating industry experience into teaching, emphasizing mechanics and design to prepare students for engineering practice. His teaching philosophy centers on fostering professional skills through collaborative, student-centered learning.
