Professor Peter Gubi is a part-time Professor of Counselling and Spiritual Accompaniment at the University of Chester, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. He is also an Ordained Presbyter in the Moravian Church, serving as Minister at Fairfield Moravian Church and Royton Moravian Church. His academic and professional roles include Provincial Pastoral Supervision Co-ordinator for the Moravian Church and Honorary Professor of Practical Theology at Teofilo Kisanji University, Tanzania. He holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Counselling Studies and ThD in Practical Theology.
His research focuses on the intersection of spirituality and mental health, particularly supporting clergy through pastoral supervision and reflective practice groups.
