Peter Goy

Peter Goy is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Northampton, affiliated with the Childhood, Youth and Families Centre for Education and Research and the Centre for Health Sciences and Services. He holds ORCID ID 0000-0003-3817-448X and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and member of the British Psychological Society.

Education includes a BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies (First Class), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and MA Education (Distinction). His research focuses on children's centres, social construction of vulnerable families, and early childhood policy. Notable works include analyses of children's centres' core purposes and austerity impacts.

He has served as External Examiner for London Metropolitan University’s Early Childhood Studies program since 2019. Research contributions span thematic analysis methodologies, policy critiques, and community-based education initiatives. Awards include a MA Distinction and FHEA fellowship.
