Professor Peter Frankopan is a leading scholar in Global History and Byzantine Studies at the University of Oxford. He holds the position of Professor of Global History and directs the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research. As a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, he has contributed significantly to interdisciplinary research on the Byzantine Empire, Late Antiquity, and the Silk Roads.
