Peter Flesch

Prof. Peter Flesch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Lighting Technology at the Technical University of Berlin, part of the Institute of Energy and Automation Technology. He holds a Dipl.-Phys. from the Technical University of Darmstadt (1997) and a Dr.-Ing. (2000) from the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT), where he also completed his Habilitation in Optical Radiation Sources (2005). His professional roles include teaching assignments at TU Berlin and TU Ilmenau, focusing on light generation and optical radiation sources. He has led HID lamp development at OSRAM Berlin since 2006.
