Peter Coutsouridis

Peter Coutsouridis is an Associate Professor of Percussion and Music Theory at Westfield State University in Massachusetts. He also performs with the Faculty Jazz Septet and serves as principal timpanist for the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut. Additionally, he is a drummer for the worship team ministry at Westfield Evangelical Free Church.

His research and professional focus lies in percussion performance, music theory instruction, and jazz ensemble collaboration. He integrates practical musical skills with theoretical foundations in both academic and performance settings.

He resides in Westfield, Massachusetts with his wife Karin and four children.
