Peter Chang

Peter Chang, MD is an Assistant Professor-in-Residence in Radiological Sciences at UCI School of Medicine. He serves as Co-Director of both the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine and Precision Health through Artificial Intelligence (PHAI).

His research focuses on developing deep learning approaches for medical image analysis, particularly breast MRI segmentation to quantify breast density and improve cancer diagnostics. His work leverages convolutional neural networks like U-net architectures.
