About
Professor Peter Bright is a faculty member at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), holding the position of Professor of Psychology and Director of the ARU Centre for Mind and Behaviour. He also serves as Co-Director of the Multilanguage and Cognition (MULTAC) lab at University College London and is affiliated with the Vision and Eye Research Institute at ARU. He is a Principal Investigator (PI) at the Cambridge Neuroscience initiative at the University of Cambridge. His academic journey includes post-doctoral roles at the University of Cambridge and King’s College London, culminating in a PhD from the University of Cambridge in 1999.
Dr. Bright’s research focuses on neuropsychology, bilingual cognition, memory, and cognitive control. Teaching and academic service: He chairs ARU’s University Research Ethics Committee and teaches courses such as Imaging & Diagnostics in Cognitive Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience. He is an editorial board member for journals like Scientific Reports and Frontiers in Psychology, and has reviewed grants for the BBSRC, ESRC, and MRC.
