Peter Bank is a Professor at the Technical University of Berlin within the Mathematics Department. His research centers on stochastic analysis and control theory, particularly applied to financial optimization problems. He co-leads the international research training group Berlin-Oxford IRTG 2544 'Stochastic Analysis in Interaction' with Terry Lyons of the University of Oxford. During his current sabbatical, he remains engaged through an Oberseminar for students pursuing BSc and MSc theses.
