Peter Ančic

Peter Ančic is a Lecturer at the Department of Photography and New Media of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (AFAD). His work focuses on photography education, historical photographic techniques, and documentary practices. He teaches courses such as 'Basics of Photography for Restorers' and 'Techniques of Photography and Image Processing.'

His notable artistic project From the series Husák's Generation I. (2008) explores socio-political themes through portraiture, exhibited at the Nitra Gallery. This series reflects on generational identity under late 20th-century Slovak political contexts.
