Perviz Asaria

Perviz Asaria is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. He serves as the Cardio-renal-metabolic and cardiovascular disease lead in Harrow ICB (NWL ICS). His expertise spans public health epidemiology, biostatistics, and policy development at the World Health Organization (WHO) and King’s Fund. Dr. Asaria focuses on identifying under-studied populations, such as out-of-hospital myocardial infarction patients and undiagnosed hypertension cases, to understand population-level disease variations. His research employs Bayesian spatial frameworks and national administrative datasets to quantify health disparities. He teaches statistics and data science (R/ORACLE SQL) on Imperial’s MSc in Health Data Analytics and BSc in Cardiovascular Science.
