Perseverence Savieri

Perseverence Savieri is a doctoral researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Research Centre for Digital Medicine. He holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe.

Mr. Savieri's research focuses on developing artificial intelligence systems to enhance statistical thinking and consulting. His doctoral project, "An artificial intelligent consultant to enhance statistical thinking," aims to create interactive tools that help researchers critically assess their data and statistical choices. He specializes in data analysis, data management, data visualization, and statistical programming using R, STATA, SAS, and SPSS.

His recent publications demonstrate expertise across multiple domains including transportation geography, archaeobotany, and advanced statistical methods. Notably, he has developed interactive research tools like LiMMCov for covariance structure selection in linear mixed models and ReDiag for addressing misconceptions in regression diagnostics.

Mr. Savieri actively contributes to the academic community through peer reviewing for journals such as PLoS ONE and presenting at conferences worldwide. His work bridges the gap between statistical theory and practical application, making complex statistical concepts more accessible to non-statisticians.
