Perry Golkin

Perry Golkin is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, with extensive professional experience in private equity, corporate law, and finance. He is deeply affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, serving as a Trustee of the University, an Overseer at the Law School, a Trustee of Penn Medicine, and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Institute for Law & Economics.

His research and professional interests center on corporate law, private equity, financial regulation, and law and entrepreneurship. With a strong background in both law and business, Golkin integrates practical financial and legal expertise into his academic engagement. He has lectured at both the Law School and the Wharton School and delivered keynote addresses on law and entrepreneurship.

(KKR), where he played key roles in acquisitions, investor relations, and capital raising, and served on boards of major KKR portfolio companies such as Willis Group, Primedia, Inc., Walter Industries, Rockwood Chemicals, and American Re-Insurance Company. As a student, he taught financial and managerial accounting at the Wharton School, demonstrating early academic engagement.
