Perrine DeShield

Perrine DeShield is a Professor of Fashion Marketing and Management at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a position she has held since Fall 2022. She holds an M.F.A. in Luxury and Fashion Management from SCAD and a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her professional background includes roles as Owner/Director of ECLECS Creative Agency and extensive experience at Belk, where she led influencer campaigns, social media strategies, and experiential programming.

Her research focuses on fashion marketing, social media engagement, and brand development. Awards highlight her industry impact, including recognition for business innovation and leadership. She chairs Belk's BRIGHT employee resource group and participates in the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance.
