Perego Simon

Simon Perego is a Lecturer in contemporary history at the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INaLCO), affiliated with the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies. He serves as a researcher within the CERMOM team, focusing on Jewish historical studies and memory politics. His academic responsibilities include teaching courses on Jewish history in France, Poland, Russia, and the United States, alongside seminars on the contemporary Jewish world.

Perego's research explores:

He co-curated exhibitions at Paris's Shoah Memorial, including The Voice of Witnesses (2020) and After the Shoah (2016), contributing to their scholarly catalogs.
