Per Nilsén is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law, Lund University, and holds Researcher positions in Legal History and Public Law. His research focuses on the historical development of public law as a system of political, philosophical, and religious ideas, with comparative perspectives across Nordic and European contexts. He has conducted extended research in Germany and Scandinavia, enriching his interdisciplinary approach.
Teaching spans roles at Lund University (2000–2004, 2008–present) and the University of Southern Denmark (2004–2008), covering Legal History, Constitutional Law, Legal Philosophy, and Comparative Law.
