Per Magnus Kristiansen

Prof. Dr. Per Magnus Kristiansen is a faculty member at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), affiliated with the School of Engineering and Environment. He serves as the Head of the FHNW Institute of Polymer Nanotechnology and leads the Competence Field Surface Structuring there. At the Paul Scherrer Institute, he holds a Staff Scientist position in the Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology. Kristiansen also lectures in both Bachelor and Master degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on Polymer Technology and Micro/Nanotechnologies.

• Research areas: Micro- and nanostructuring of polymer surfaces, Industrial replication technologies, Application development in microfluidics/diagnostics, Micro- and freeform optics, Anti-counterfeit features, Functional polymer surfaces, Additive manufacturing at micro/nanoscale.
