Per Laleng is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Kent Law School, holding degrees from Kent and Cambridge. A practicing barrister specializing in personal injury law for eight years, his research focuses on causal inference in toxic torts and the integration of quantitative methods in legal reasoning. Laleng's scholarship critically examines evidentiary challenges in tort cases, particularly involving epidemiological data and algorithmic accountability. Recent publications analyze judicial interpretation of statistical evidence and biases in appellate decision-making.
