Per Jansson

Per Jansson is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) and the Political Science division (STATSV). He holds a PhD in Political Science from Lund University (1991) and has extensive experience in academic leadership roles, including Head of Department and Programme Coordinator for the Master's Programme in International and European Relations. His research focuses on international norms, European foreign/security policy, and classical realism interpretations of power dynamics. Key projects include studies on arbitration institutions, the European Neighborhood Policy, and the concept of 'smart power.' He teaches international theory, security studies, and diplomacy, primarily in English.
