Peony Gent

Peony Gent is a Lecturer in BA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. As an interdisciplinary artist, she works across illustration, experimental comics, and poetry, focusing on collective memory and poetry as resistance. Her practice centers drawing, using a loose style to capture essence and elevate overlooked aspects of life. She served as Illustrator in Residence at the House of Illustration (2020) and has collaborated with institutions such as the V&A, Frieze, SkyArts, and Derwent. Her work has been featured in outlets like It's Nice That, Varoom, and The Comics Journal.
