Pengbo Liu is a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Bentley University. He holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Liu's teaching focuses on practical ethics, technology and value, life and death, and Asian philosophy, while his research explores applied ethics, cross-cultural philosophy, and ethics of emerging technologies.
His recent publication investigates how AI technologies like chatbots affect human relationships with deceased individuals, examining ethical dimensions of digital memorialization and artificial companionship.
