Peng Wang

Peng Wang is a Lecturer in Financial Management at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. He holds a PhD in Finance from Hanken School of Economics (Finland), an MSc in Computational Finance, and a Bachelor of Economics from Harbin Institute of Technology (China).

His research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues. Key areas include environmental performance in China, geopolitical economic uncertainty, and sustainable development strategies. He has published over 10 papers in top journals like Economic Modelling and International Review of Financial Analysis, securing £60,000 in research funding.
