Peng Li

Dr. Peng Li is a Research Fellow at the School of Science, RMIT University. His research focuses on the design of novel materials and nanostructures for energy conversion and storage, including carbon capture, batteries, fuel cells, and electrocatalysis. He holds a PhD and has held academic positions at RMIT University (since 2023), Swinburne University of Technology (2021–2022), and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO, 2022–2023).

• Research Interests: Electrochemistry, carbon capture engineering, catalysis mechanisms, and advanced battery technologies.
• Key Projects: Development of high-performance aqueous zinc-ion batteries, direct electrolysis of CO2 for syngas production, and borophene materials for Li-O2 batteries.

Dr. Li collaborates on industry projects and supervises research students. His work emphasizes sustainable energy solutions and innovative material synthesis. He is open to PhD/Masters supervision and collaborative research.
