Peng Bai

Peng Bai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at the McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis. He leads the Battery Analytical Investigation (BAI) Group, focusing on next-generation battery development through combined theoretical and experimental approaches. His expertise spans physics-based mathematical modeling and analytical electrochemistry.

Research Interests: Professor Bai investigates in situ electrochemical dynamics at nanoscales, heterogeneous electrode behavior, and mathematical modeling for rational battery design.
