Pelin Celik is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Design at the Department of Design and Culture, Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin), a position she has held since 2017. She is also affiliated with the System Design/Game Design Master's program. Previously, she served as a professor at the University of Communication and Design in Ulm, a visiting professor at Burg Giebichenstein Art Academy, and a lecturer at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.

Research Interests: Pelin Celik's research centers on holistic user experience design, particularly for aging populations, and systems thinking methodologies. Her work integrates futures thinking, speculative design, and play-based experimentation to address human-technology interaction challenges in aging societies.
Academic Service: Professor Celik chairs the Examination Board, serves as Program Spokesperson for System Design, and directs laboratory operations. She supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses with industry partners while fulfilling committee roles including Department Council membership, BAföG representation, and selection committee duties.
Laboratory Leadership: As Laboratory Director for System Design/Game Design, she oversees experimental facilities focused on systemic design applications and user experience prototyping.
