Peggy Chambers

Peggy Chambers is a Lecturer and Academic Advisor in the Department of Classics and Letters at the University of Oklahoma. She specializes in Latin language instruction and classical literature, authoring four textbooks published or under contract with the University of Oklahoma Press. Her work focuses on introductory and advanced Latin pedagogy, integrating classical texts like Pliny the Elder and Aulus Gellius into educational frameworks.

Dr. Chambers teaches both regular and Honors Latin courses, as well as online courses on Greek and Roman Civilization. She has received seven teaching and advising awards, reflecting her dedication to student success.
