Pedro Vicente

Pedro C. Vicente is a Full Professor of Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), serving as founding scientific director of the NOVAFRICA Knowledge Center. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and prior appointments at Oxford University, Trinity College Dublin, and visiting roles at institutions like the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on development economics and political economy in African contexts, with extensive fieldwork in countries like Mozambique, Nigeria, and Guinea-Bissau.
