Pavel Wiegmann

Pavel Wiegmann is Professor in the Department of Physics, James Franck Institute, Enrico Fermi Institute, Kadanoff Center for Theoretical Physics, and the College at the University of Chicago.

His research spans condensed matter physics, quantum magnetism, and statistical mechanics, with focus on electronic systems in low dimensions, quantum Hall effects, and topological aspects of condensed matter theories. Additional interests include non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, conformal symmetry, and integrable models of quantum field theory.
