Paulo Alexandre Ribeiro Cortez

Paulo Alexandre Ribeiro Cortez is a Full Professor at the Department of Information Systems, School of Engineering, University of Minho. He serves as Associate Director of the ALGORITMI Research Centre and is a member of both the IST R&D Group and IDS R&D Lab. With a Dr habil academic degree, his work bridges theoretical research and practical applications across multiple domains.

Dr. Cortez's research focuses on Business Analytics, Data Science, Decision Support Systems, Neural Networks and Machine Learning, Evolutionary Algorithms, and Artificial Intelligence Applications.
