Pauline Locsin-Kanter

Pauline Locsin-Kanter is a Teaching Professor at Santa Clara University's College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Theatre and Dance. A California native with deep Santa Clara County roots, she combines performance, education, and creative direction in her academic practice.

• M.F.A. in Directing and Choreography (Wilson College)
• B.A. in Performing Arts (St. Mary’s College)

Her research and practice focus on:

• Choreography as feminist expression (e.g., *HERstory of Guam*)
• Musical theatre pedagogy
• Intercultural performance studies
• Dance education curriculum development

She has adjudicated nationally for Starpower, Dance Masters of America, and United Spirit Association, while teaching core courses like Jazz Dance, Tap Dance, and Dance Composition.
