Mrs. Paula Whitelaw is an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Stirling. She has over 20 years of experience in Heritage Planning, working with organizations like the RSPB, SEPA, and the National Trust for Scotland since 2001. Her research focuses on understanding the social values of heritage places, particularly how natural and cultural heritage sites contribute to community identity and belonging.
Education: BSc in Geography (University of Glasgow) and MSc in Rural and Regional Resources Planning (University of Aberdeen). Current research includes a joint project with the University of Stirling exploring the social and cultural significance of National Trust for Scotland properties.
