Dr. Paula Skye Tallman is an Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) and a Research Associate at The Field Museum of Natural History. Her work focuses on environmental and human health disparities, particularly in Latin America and Southeast Asia. She leads the Laboratory for Human Health and History (HHH Lab) at LUC and co-leads interdisciplinary research projects funded by the British Academy and NSF.
Education:

- Ph.D. Anthropology (Northwestern University, 2015)
Research Interests: Dr. Tallman investigates the intersection of environmental change, cultural shifts, and health outcomes. Her current projects address water insecurity, gender-based violence, climate change impacts, and indigenous health in Peru and Indonesia. She employs mixed-methods approaches, including ethnography, biomarker analysis, and participatory research.
