Dr. Paula McCoy is a Clinical Psychology Professor at the College of Business and Social Sciences, West Virginia State University (WVSU). She previously taught doctoral-level biofeedback courses at the University of North Texas and undergraduate courses at Marshall University and the University of Charleston. A licensed clinical psychologist, she brings extensive professional experience from roles at the Prestera Center in Huntington, WV, Mildred Bateman Hospital, and a 6-year part-time private practice. She also served as a forensic consultant for the Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
- Research Interests: Focus on clinical psychology, biofeedback, addiction studies, and forensic applications. Her work bridges behavioral analysis with mental health treatment and therapeutic techniques.
