Paula Alvarez Gonzalez

Paula Alvarez Gonzalez is a Contracted (Adjunct) Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Department of Business Organization and Marketing under the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Vigo (2015), focusing on 'Mergers and Acquisitions from the Perspective of Marketing Impact on the Spanish Banking Consumer,' supervised by Dr. Maria del Carmen Otero Neira.

Her research interests center on strategic marketing, corporate restructuring, consumer behavior in banking sectors, and organizational sustainability. She contributes to the POSMARK research group ('People, Sustainable Organizations and Marketing').
